Partners Against Business Crime In Staffordshire

Introducing PABCIS - Partnerships Against Business Crime In Staffordshire. All accredited Partnerships in the County are now linking together. This is being chaired by Stoke On Trent Business Crime Initiative Manager Julie Davies.

The aim is to ensure that we work closely together with our neighbours to tackle the problem of displacement. PABCIS will ensure that all partnerships operate to the same high standards leading to the successful sharing of intelligence and best practice.

Our Objectives:

· Promote Partnership working between existing business partnerships.

· Provide consistent and timely sharing of intelligence between partner organisations and the Police.

· Bring all existing and future Local Partnerships up to the same standard and provide consistency.

· Create safer environments for communities and utilise best practice.

· Create a support network for members.

· Provide a pro-active framework within which the issues of business crime can be strategically addressed.

· To provide a consistent approach towards partnerships from the Police.

· To reduce and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour by reducing the opportunity to commit crime.

· To strengthen partnership working within the business community, Police, Local Authority and other key agencies and organisations.

· To establish BCRP's as an integral part of the Local Community Safety and Crime Reduction Strategy
